Commercial Construction Project Manager

Who we are:

We are a commercial and residential builder based in Ferntree Gully. Due to our increasing client base we are looking to appoint a new Project Manager to assist our existing team in running and coordinating projects valued up to $10M.

Who we are seeking:

It is preferable, but not essential that you be tertiary qualified. Your remuneration package will reflect your experience and capabilities.

You responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and evaluating all project documentation and distributing plans and specifications for sub contractor quotes as required.
• Establishing the construction program and altering to suit progress of works and alterations to the scope of works as required.
• Letting sub-contracts and coordinating trades to meet the required construction program.
• Coordinating all site activities with the site foreman and labourers taking into account requirements of the various interested parties including the architect, consultants, owner, tenant and sub contractors.
• Controlling the Microsoft Excel based project budget, variations and progress claims
• Ensure the projects are completed on time and within the budget along with coordinating incomplete and defect rectification works following completion or hand over of the project.
• Regular liaison with the company directors to confirm and update progress and any changes to the scope of works.
• You will need to be computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.
